The Kalgoorlie Desert Race has become a highly anticipated annual event in Kalgoorlie, captivating audiences for the past six years.

The race is only made possible by a passionate team of dedicated volunteers, comprising of approximately 100 individuals. 

Volunteering opportunities are available to anyone interested, with minimal prerequisites depending on the specific role. While some positions may require training and accreditation, such as scrutineering, many other tasks do not require formal qualifications. These roles encompass areas such as car park attendants, spectator marshalls, and more. Training will be provided as needed, along with briefings to ensure clear communication and coordination.
