KDR 2020 Working Bee

It's that time of year again... The race is nearly ontop of us... Whilst many have been working nearly non stop since the last KDR, there's always a huge list of small items and tasks that need to be taken care of leading up to the big race.

This is where we need your help for that final push to ensure we have a successful KDR.

When:

Saturday & Sunday October 10th and 11th, from 0800 to 1600 each day.

Please come along for whatever time you may be able to spare.

Where:

KDR Start/Finish line. But there are additional jobs to be done out and along the track.

Whats Happening?:

• Paint Containers
• Fit new dome - If it arrives in time
• Move medic hut - Anyone know someone that has a blue and white Franna?
• Fence track & stewards area
• Souva sands - If they arrive
• Build up pads for containers
• Start/finish line track changes/improvements
• Put bonnets out on track
• Extend carpark & camping areas
• Road in for food vans
• Re-install Turkey nest
• Increase turkey nest dam size (3 water trucks this year)
• Track marking
• Prepare pad for entry gate location (under tree near T intersection)
• Create pad for additional shower block
• Repairs/maintenance to existing toilet blocks
• Night prologue track - check + finalise
• Windows in race control hut
• Road closure signs - intsall

As usual, the club will put on a sausage sizzle for everyone helping out each day. Please contact Ben to provide numbers for catering each day.
